The little things
As I mentioned in the last post I went to the beach over the weekend. I also mentioned that I was not at work on Friday. Some R&R was VERY needed over the weekend. I got to school today and a lot of kids asked where I was and told me that they missed me. I know this doesn't seem like much but sometimes it's the little things that mean so much. Kids wanted to know where I was and if I missed them to. It was so heart-warming. To be honest, it made me feel loved which is something I have been searching for. I love being a teacher. I know that God has a plan for me. Right now this plan is with special needs children. I don't fully understand this plan but I do pray that God is using me to touch the lives of my students. In reality, these kids always end up touching my heart.
