Do it yourself

Okay, I must confess; I have now become obsessed with the hgtv and the dyi network.  This obsession has rekindled from the past. When I graduated high school I decided to make a "dorm bedroom". For real, that's what I called it. I painted my room green, hung Hawaiian lights everywhere, decorated lamps, had a nice tropical paradise thing going on. When I was in middle school I read seventeen magazine and saw a "do it yourself" table makeover. I found a yard sale table, painted it purple, decorated the top with celebrities and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I must say my parents were very lenient to my artistic side. But now....I'm planning for the future. At walmart tonight I bought the do it yourself magazine. Stephen has no idea what he is in for. I'm now searching for old doors to turn into head boards, old mirrors to cover with chalk board paint, you name it....I wanna do it. This could get very interesting. Maybe it will strengthen my relationship with Stephen's dad (who just so happens to flea market--weekly). If I actually pursue these things I will definitely post pics. Wish me luck---I'm feeling artistic! :)
