Thirty-one

Tonight I hosted a thirty-one party. My cousin decided that she was going to sale the bags to make a little extra cash and wanted to know if I would host a party. Naturally, I said yes! She would have done the same for me. So typical me, I have been sending out text messages making sure people come to the party. I don't own any thirty-one bags so I was encouraging people to come and eat and hang out. I just like being a hostess!  23 people showed up tonight---how great! I still have some outside orders being placed but I'm so excited for my cousin. Her first party was a success AND we even booked her next party. I had people from Welcome, the daycare and other friends attend. We were able to play games and I must say, the food was great. Let's see....brownies, fruit pizza, deviled eggs, buffalo chicken dip and a cheese ball. A special thanks goes out to my grandma for cooking the chicken dip and cheese ball and letting us use her living room. :) Seeing all of my Welcome friends made me extra excited for school to start. I'm ready to kick off a fresh and new year!
