I was NOT forgotten! Thursday night I had dinner with my dad and he gave me a gift card. Friday night Stephen took me to River Birch Lodge for dinner. I got the salmon and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! I had never been to that resturant and Stephen knew the chef. The chef had left work early but the owner came and gave us dessert. After that we rented a movie and came back to my house. Stephen gave me car floor mats (I really wanted these) and a scarf. He was so sweet and I could not have asked for a better night.
Today is my real birthday. I am finally 24. I woke up and my grandma had a new vaccuum waiting for me. (LOL I needed one of these!) I spent the morning house hunting with my aunt then met my best friend Ashley in Winston for lunch. She gave me a scarf and a necklace and came back to my house to try some of the cake my cousin made me. Around 6:00 my brother, Brad, Stephen, Anna, Trey and myself met up and headed to the fair for fun and food. We spent LOTS of quality time together and ate plenty of food.
I felt so at peace on this birthday. I felt the love of family and friends. I know I am loved and supported. I hope 24 is good to me. I hope I become more mature and settle down. I hope 24 brings me many good memories. I hope my mom is looking down and proud of the woman I have become.
All of my birthday cards. :) That giant one is from my brother it does the funky chicken song.
