I saw a few pictures on my camera today and thought I would share them. They were taken July 4th!! We went to Boone on the 4th to visit my former college roomie and her husband. Of course when we got to Boone it rained and rained and rained. Naturally, I was in shorts and a tank top. Do you like my new sweater I had to buy? I didn't know it could be so cold in the Boone (in July). LOL
We went to a church cookout and watched the fireworks. I must say it was a pretty good show. I'd think someone spent a pretty penny celebrating the 4th. The fireworks could give Tanglewood a run for there money.
Something Blue
Friday, I got the book Something Blue. I have been wanting to read it...BAD. I went right after work and picked up a copy. Even better, I get a teacher discount at the book store. It is the sequal to the book Something Borrowed and I'm hooked. I'm already on chapter 15. I think I'm starting to become a book worm. :) Emily Griffin may be one of my new favorite authors.
Prayer Request:
Today a 17 year old girl named Allison Hunt passed away. She attended Faith Church and was active in the youth group. I did not personally know her but I know she will be missed. To my knowledge she was an only child. Please lift the Hunt family up in prayer.
